As an artist living in Naarm (Melbourne) my work takes place on the lands of the Boon wurrung and Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation. I would like to acknowledge that these are stolen lands and that the affects of colonisation are ongoing to this day, across all of so-called Australia. I would like to pay my respects to elders past, present and emerging and recognise the rich culture of art and history of storytelling that has existed on this land for over 20 000 years. Sovereignty was never ceded.
