Here's what I've been working on recently...

Braver than a Bear - Women*s Circus

Director: Malia Walsh of Circus Trick Tease (Werk It, CHEER)

Assistant Director: Katy Burrows

3 performers dressed in costume - 2 are clowns, 1 is a giant bear with only their legs visable in the image. The clowns are dragging the bear and look panicked. Text reads "Braver than a Bear" in red witha giant bear paw print. At the top it says "The 2024 End of year member cabaret".At the bottom it says "Women*s Circus" and then in a purple box "community Bank Seddon. Bendigo bank". There is also a black and white Auslan symbol.
In December of 2024 I am performing in the Women*s Circus Cabaret Braver than a Bear. This was is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with a large group of artists from marginalised genders to present a beautiful, comedic, uplifting show.

In my act I play a building inspector with a passion of safety but an unfortunately clumsy disposition. This act combines clowning and dance trapeze and is sure to leave the audience in hysterics.

HAVOC - Circus Oz

Created and Performed by: Circus Oz and people of the broader Australian circus scene

Devised by: Sharon Gruenert, Nicci Wilks, Debra Batton, Leo Pentland, Carl Polke

In Collaboration with: Squawkestra!

Circus Oz acrobats wearing red form a giant human pyramid during their show HAVOC. Musicians are positions to the side and back of stage as part of the Squawkestra.
In October of 2024 for the Melbourne Fringe Festival I had the opportunity to devise and perform a show with Circus Oz.
HAVOC consisted of "A mass of acrobats, a mass of musicians, a mass of artistry, a mash-up of circus mayhem. Over seventy humans on stage.

An arsenal of circus artists from near and far accompanied by a rocking circus band and the chaotic and majestic 40-piece Squawkestra! orchestrating the unforgettable."

Circus De Licious - Express Move ME

Produced by The Mighty Caesar & Express Move ME

An acrobat balances on their back on a trapeze. They are wearing a sparkly gold costume and pink roller skates and are lit with blue stage lights.jpg
I had the wonderful opportunity of debuting a new roller-skating trapeze act in October of 2024 for the Melbourne Fringe Festival season at Circus Nexus.

My act followed the melodramatic story of the dwarf planet Pluto as they discover they're no longer considered a "real" planet. This was a comedic tale exploring themes of exclusion and isolation.

It was such a joy performing this act alongside many talented artists in Circus De Licious. I am excited to see where I can take Pluto next.

La Mama Cabaretica -Too Darn Hot!

Curated by Isabel Knight

A performer is dressed as a mosquito and stares in awe and with desire at a purple bug zapper.
In July of 2024 I performed my act 'Electric Love' as part of La Mama Cabaretica for their sold out July show 'Too Darn Hot!' at La Mama Courthouse.

First performed at the Women*s Circus end of year Cabaret in 2023,  'Electric Love' combines two of my favourite skills: roller-skating and floor acrobatics. In this act I play a mosquito who is in love with a bug zapper, but they can never be together without the mosquito getting zapped! This is an upbeat, highly comedic piece exploring the fact that sometimes love hurts...
